No. Customers scan the QR on the table and the menu loads as a Progressive Web App — no install, no signup. They can pin it to their home screen for a native-app feel, but it is not required.
Anything with a browser — that is the whole point. A cheap Android tablet for the KDS, your existing laptop for admin, customer phones for ordering. Zero proprietary hardware required on Free and Premium. Enterprise customers who want a fully turnkey setup can opt into our hardware bundle — tablets, POS terminals, thermal printers, mobile devices, cash registers, and computers — with on-site installation and staff training.
