Yes — the free plan has no credit card requirement, no time limit, and includes the full Customer App, Admin Dashboard, KDS and POS. You only upgrade to Premium when your volume of items, tables, staff or monthly orders exceeds the free quota.
No. Customers scan the QR on the table and the menu loads as a Progressive Web App — no install, no signup. They can pin it to their home screen for a native-app feel, but it is not required.
Anything with a browser — that is the whole point. A cheap Android tablet for the KDS, your existing laptop for admin, customer phones for ordering. Zero proprietary hardware required on Free and Premium. Enterprise customers who want a fully turnkey setup can opt into our hardware bundle — tablets, POS terminals, thermal printers, mobile devices, cash registers, and computers — with on-site installation and staff training.
VAT is configurable as inclusive or exclusive per restaurant. Service charge and takeaway charge are configurable. Senior Citizen and PWD discounts are a one-tap flow at checkout — with the required ID details captured for BIR compliance.

Multi-branch chain management with a central command dashboard is on our roadmap. The Enterprise tier will support it. For now, each branch can run as its own Kaidou restaurant.
